LEAP WITH ABA THERAPY

We envision a future where every child feels understood and empowered to grow with confidence and dignity — a future built on inclusion, collaboration, and meaningful progress.

MISSION

To provide compassionate, ethical, and evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services that strengthen communication, increase independence, and enhance quality of life.We partner with families every step of the way to create meaningful, measurable, and sustainable progress.

PHILOSOPHY

If a child isn’t learning, we change the way we teach, not the child. We believe meaningful growth happens when instruction adapts to the individual. Every treatment plan is thoughtfully individualized, continuously monitored, and guided by objective data to support progress that is both clinically sound and personally meaningful.

Children thrive when they feel understood.

Families thrive when they feel supported.

OUR APPROACH

  • We begin by understanding the whole child — beyond observable behavior. Through comprehensive assessment and ongoing data collection, we identify strengths, needs, communication patterns, and environmental factors that influence learning

  • We empower families and caregivers with practical tools and evidence-based strategies that extend progress beyond therapy sessions into everyday life. When learning does not occur as expected, we refine our methods — ensuring instruction aligns with the child’s unique learning style.

  • We collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary providers to promote consistency across home, school, and community settings. No family should feel alone in this journey.

  • To us, progress means more than meeting goals. It means building confidence, increasing independence, strengthening communication, and developing skills that improve long-term quality of life.

OUR COMMITMENT

  • All services are delivered in accordance with BACB ethical standards and current evidence-based practices. Treatment plans are individualized, measurable, and regularly reviewed to ensure meaningful outcomes.

  • We work alongside caregivers, schools, and healthcare professionals to create structured, supportive environments where children can thrive.

  • We believe families are essential to success and provide caregiver training that fosters confidence and long-term sustainability.

  • We are committed to fostering a supportive, growth-oriented environment for our clinicians through ethical leadership, supervision, and ongoing professional development.

Your child’s journey is unique. We are here to help them LEAP forward — one meaningful step at a time.

OUR FOUNDER

Liz Laurent Espinosa, M.S., BCBA | Founder & Clinical Director

LEAP with ABA Therapy was founded by Liz Laurent Espinosa, M.S., BCBA, whose commitment to children and families began early in her academic career. While serving as Executive Director of Phi Beta Kappa at Miami Dade College, she led community initiatives supporting children and underserved populations — experiences that reinforced her dedication to access, structure, and meaningful support.

Her professional journey in Applied Behavior Analysis began in direct service as a Registered Behavior Technician and progressed into BCBA-level clinical leadership. Working across levels of care shaped a leadership approach centered on thoughtful program design, professional accountability, and collaborative partnerships with families, schools, and healthcare providers.

Liz earned her Master’s degree in Exceptional Student Education with a specialization in Behavior Analysis. Today, her oversight emphasizes clear treatment frameworks, objective data review, and consistent clinical standards — ensuring services are intentional, responsible, and designed to promote lasting, measurable outcomes.

As Clinical Director, Liz believes progress is built through partnership. Therapy does not exist in isolation — it requires alignment among clinicians, caregivers, schools, and healthcare providers. Families deserve transparency, professionalism, and a meaningful voice in the treatment process.

LEAP with ABA Therapy proudly serves families in both English and Spanish.
